Natural gas transmissionnet calorific values for transmission system use nominationsSince 1 January 2012, on the Croatian natural gas market the measuring unit kWh (kWh/h) has been used in compliance with the provision of the article 53. –Regulation on natural gas market organisation (OG 126/10, OG 128/11).
The TSO publishes net calorific values of natural gas used by suppliers and balance group leaders when nominating the use of the transmission system to convert natural gas quantities expressed in m3/h (m3/day) into the measuring unit for energy kWh/h (kWh). The expressed net calorific values are the result of natural gas quality tests carried out in the certified laboratory of the Republic of Croatia. The conversion of the net calorific value expressed in MJ/m3 into kWh/m3, at reference conditions 15°C/15°C, was carried out by division by 3.6 (kWh/m3), and the resulting value was then rounded to six decimal digits. The document with the calorific value can be downloaded here: The following data are used for transmission system use nominations at the interconnection with the upstream TSO: 1.
