Based on the EU NIS Directive concerning measures for a high common level of security of network and information systems, which was implemented in the Croatian legislation through the Cybersecurity Act, Plinacro has been recognised as an operator of essential service of gas transmission. As a result, the company has been awarded a grant from the EU CEF Telecom fund for three projects of cybersecurity. At the end of one of the mentioned projects, in cooperation with the national CERT, the Information Systems Security Bureau (ISSB) and the Ministry of Environment and Energy, Plinacro organized a Workshop on application and implementation of cybersecurity projects (application to CEF call for proposals). The workshop was attended by other representatives of operators of essential services from the energy sector: HOPS, HEP, PSP, GPZ and INA.
