Virtual Trading Point

As of 1 January 2014 a virtual trading point was introduced (VTP) in the Croatian gas market.

Virtual trading point is a hub for trading in gas, after it has entered the transmission system and before it has left the transmission system, including the gas storage system.
The Croatian Gas Market Operator (HROTE) enables, daily, the responsible balance parties to register their transactions at the virtual trading point.

The rules at the VTP are prescribed by the Rules on the Organisation of the Gas Market (OG 50/18) of HROTE.
