President of Plinacro's Board, Ivica Arar, visited UGS Grubišno Polje

Mr Ivica Arar, the President of the Assembly of Podzemno skladište plina and President of Plinacro's Board, visited UGS Grubišno Polje with his associates.

His hosts, director of the PSP company Vlado Vlašić and director of the Technological Management Division Laslo Farkaš Višontai, presented to him the construction process of this extremely important energy facility.
It's the 32.6 million EUR worth first phase of the project that includes the production, that is, exploitation of natural gas from the reservoir.

The construction of the facilities was carried out in three stages - the connection of the gas station to the main gas pipeline, the construction of the facility and the connection of two wells in which, according to estimates, there are about 150 million cubic meters of gas.
As they explained, currently the exploitation is underway, after which it is expected that the use permit will be issued in the fourth quarter of this year. Then follows the extraction of gas from the Grubišno polje wells. This gas will be mixed with the gas from the Croatian transmission system in a special facility and, after being compressed, it will be returned into the Croatian gas transmission system. Initially, the capacities of the two reservoirs will increase Croatian gas production by about 15 percent. The second phase of the project, that is, the conversion of the reservoir into an underground gas storage facility, will take place in 2027. The extraction of the existing gas in the reservoirs will continue during this period.
