Plinacro at the 11th International Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Conference organised by HUNIG

11th International Oil & Gas and Renewable Energy Conference organised by the Croatian Association of Petroleum Engineers and Geologists was held in the period from 17th to 19th October in Šibenik and it gathered 200 participants from Croatia and abroad. 


 
Mr Vedran Špehar, Assistant to the President of the Board greeted participants on behalf of the President of the Board and mentioned the numerous projects the aim of which is to provide safe and reliable natural gas transmission. Mr Špehar highlighted priorities, especially the project of constructing the Zlobin – Bosiljevo gas pipeline which is to increase capacity of gas transmission from the LNG terminal on the island of Krk. 
 
In his introductory speech, Mr Robert Bošnjak, Assistant to the Member of the Board presented the gas transmission system of the Republic of Croatia and key strategic projects of the company in details to the participants of the Conference. Mr Bošnjak also participated in a panel discussion Shaping the Future of Petroleum Professionals in Energy Transition.


 
Mr Darko Pavlović, PhD gave his contribution to the Conference as a co-author of the paper Revision of the abandoned surface mines in Varaždin County – case study, while Ms Branka Belamarić contributed to the success of the Conference by giving a lecture on the topic concerning the Role of hydrogen in a decarbonisation of the gas transmission system, with Mr Bošnjak as a co-mentor.
