Calorific values for nomination

Calorific values for nominations
NET CALORIFIC VALUES FOR NOMINATIONS CONCERNING THE USE OF THE TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

Since January 1, 2012, on the Croatian natural gas market the unit of measurement kWh (kWh/h) has been used and the quantities in all nominations and reports are expressed in energy units of measurement.
If transmission system users require calorific values for the future period for their internal processes, we recommend to use latest available calorific value data received by users through reports in SUKAP system, that is, the data available through the public web applications within the SUKAP information system. For the data on calorific gas values select the Gas composition tab on the interface and then the type of the relevant point and entry/exit on the transmission system.

Calorific value data for natural gas at interconnections with the upstream transmission system operators (TSOs) have been available on the web pages of the relevant upstream operators
  1. Hungary - Croatia (FGSZ Ltd.)
  2. Slovenia - Croatia (Plinovodi d.o.o.)
For the conversion of energy expressed in kWh at GCV and reference conditions (25°C/0°C) used in transport nominations towards TSOs of neighbouring countries into the amount of energy expressed in kWh at NCV and reference conditions (15°C/15°C) used in nominations on the Croatian transport system, the initial amount needs to be multiplied by conversion factor 0.901.
