Bosiljevo – Sisak

The gas pipeline Bosiljevo - Sisak DN 800/100 bar is a closed technological system constructed from steel pipes with a nominal diameter of DN 800 and is dimensioned in accordance with the operating pressure of 100 bar. The entire length of the gas pipeline is constructed as an underground installation, with the exception of the construction of overhead facilities at the sites of installation of block stations (BS), launching and receiving scraper traps (MČS) and gas nodes (PČ). The main gas pipeline will be laid in the Karlovac and Sisak-Moslavina Counties, and will pass through the municipalities of Bosiljevo, Generalski Stol, Barilović, Krnjak, Vojnić, Gvozd and Topusko and the towns of Glina, Petrinja and Sisak.

The gas pipeline will be laid in the corridor of the existing JANAF main oil pipeline. The length of the gas pipeline will be approximately 101 km.

The planned activity in the space includes:

• construction of pipeline DN 800/100 bar including also launching/receiving scraper station (OPČS) at the location of the future PČ Bosiljevo and launching/receiving scraper station (OPČS) at the location of the existing MRS Sisak
• construction of block station BS-1 Zvečaj
• construction of block station BS-2 Krnjak
• construction of block station BS-3 Vojnić
• construction of launching and receiving scraper traps / block station MČS/BS-4 Gvozd
• construction of block station BS-5 Šatornja
• construction of block station BS-6 Prekopa
• construction of block station BS-7 Hrastovica
• construction of block station BS-8 Komarevo
• reconstruction of MRS Sisak
• installation of cathodic protection of gas pipelines
• construction - laying of optic cable - 2 pipes, PEHD Ø 50.

The works on the gas pipeline are underway, and the planned implementation period is by the end of 2026.

By putting the Bosiljevo-Sisak and Kozarac-Sisak gas pipelines (total 122 km) into operation, gas transmission capacities at the Drávaszerdahely Interconnection Point (HR-HU direction) will be increased, with the technical capacity doubling from the current 200,000 Sm³/h to 400,000 Sm³/h.

In the trial run, starting from 31 December 2026, the additional 200,000 Sm3/h will be offered exclusively as interruptible capacity.

Upon obtaining the use permit for the newly constructed pipelines, respective capacity will be doubled from current 200,000 Sm3/h and offered as firm in total capacity of 400,000 Sm3/h.
