6.5.5 Compressor station 1 at the Croatian gas transmission system

Compressor station 1 (CS-1) is located in the central part of the Croatian gas transmission system in Velika Ludina and it enables gas transmission from Croatia to Hungary via the existing interconnection with Hungary with firm capacity of 200,000 m³/h.

CS-1 may compress the gas in the opposite direction, from Hungary towards the western part of the gas transmission system as well as from the 50-bar sub-system into 75-bar sub-system which provides greater flexibility and utilisation of the transmission system.

The capacity of CS-1 equals 201,000 m³/h, power 4.5 MW, and it consists of two active and one stand-by compressor station.
Compressor station 1 is constructed and put into operation in December 2019.
