Services provided by the transmission system operator
STANDARD SERVICES
Transmission system capacities at the entry point and the transmission system capacities at the exit point are available through different types of services and may be contracted independently.
The Transmission System Operator provides gas transmission services based on the Gas Transmission Contract and/or the Interconnection Gas Transmission Contract concluded with the supplier or gas trader, under the conditions and in the manner prescribed by this Network Code and European Union Regulations.
The transmission system operator shall offer only those services that it can provide considering the technical parameters of the transmission system and the liabilities under the existing transport contracts.
Standard Capacity Products at an Interconnection
Transmission System Operator offers standard capacity product at an Interconnection in the manner prescribed by the Commission Regulation (EU) 2017/459 of 16 March 2017 establishing a network code on capacity allocation mechanisms in gas transmission systems and repealing Regulation (EU) No 984/2013
Firm capacity
Firm capacity of the transmission system may be contracted at all entry and exit points at which there is available firm capacity. Information on available firm capacity has been published on the official web page of the transmission system operator.
Firm capacity may be contracted as the following:
yearly standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for all gas days in a particular gas year (starting on 1 October)
quarterly standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for all gas days in a particular quarter (starting on 1 October, 1 January, 1 April or 1 July)
monthly standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for all gas days in a particular month (starting on the first day of each month)
daily standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for a single gas day
within-day standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for a particular period within a single gas day (from a start time within a particular gas day until the end of the same gas day)
Interruptible capacity
The transmission system operator offers possibility of booking interruptible capacity at the entry and exit points at which there is no available firm capacity.
Interruptible capacity can be contracted max. up to the amount of technical capacity at particular entry and/or exit point.

Interruptible capacity may be contracted as the following:
yearly standard interruptible capacity product – a given amount of
interruptible
capacity for all gas days in a particular gas year (starting on 1 October)
quarterly standard

Standard Capacity Products at Entries and Exits in the Republic of Croatia
The Transmission System Operator offers firm and interruptible capacity at all entries and exits in the RC as:
yearly standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for all gas days in a particular gas year (starting on 1 October)
quarterly standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for all gas days in a particular quarter (starting on 1 October, 1 January, 1 April or 1 July)
monthly standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for all gas days in a particular month (starting on the first day of each month)
daily standard capacity product – a given amount of capacity for a single gas day
Prices of the standard capacity products
The price of the gas transmission service has been determined based on
Methodology for determining the amount of tariff items for gas transmission
. The amounts of the tariff items for natural gas transmission have been determined for a particular kind of transmission system entries / exits and for particular years of a regulation period. The regulation period lasts five years.
Types of tariff items for gas transmission are the following:
Tariff item for entry at interconnection
Tariff item for entry from production
Tariff item for entry from gas storage
Tariff item for exit at interconnection
Tariff item for exit in Croatia
Tariff item for the amount of gas
On 8 December 2019 the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency took a new Decision on the amount of the tariff items for the natural gas transmission for energy entity Plinacro (OG
124/19
).
This Decision will come info force on 1 January 2020.
Pursuant to the relevant Decisions, valid tariff items for gas transmission in the
calendar year
2020-2021 are the following:

For the auctions at the interconnection, the amount of tariff items from the Decision on the amount of tariff items for natural gas transmission is expressed in gross calorific value under normal conditions, so it is multiplied by a coefficient of 0.9010.
NON-STANDARD SERVICES
In compliance with article 14, item 1 of Methodology for determining a price of non-standard services for gas transmission, distribution of gas, storage of gas and public service of gas supply (OG
58/13 i 91/16, 116/16
), the Croatian Energy Regulatory Agency took
Decision on average hourly prices for non-standard service providers in the gas sector for the second regulatory period 2017-2021 (HERA,
11/2016
)
Based on the mentioned Methodology and Decision, as the transmission system operator, Plinacro adopted a
Pricelist for the non-standard services of the transmission system operator for the regulation period 2017-2021
that is valid from January 1 2017.
